Julia Troy and Marshall Troy, a husband-and-wife film and production studio, asked me to help them refresh their logo for a company renaming — from Troy Studio to Troy + Troy.
This name change shows Julia and Marshall as two unique creators, each with a distinct skill set, who can leverage their dynamic collaboration to create superior work.
We identified the plus sign as a place for exploration. Work by Troy + Troy is defined by Julia and Marshall’s collaboration. The “+” activates the space in between their names, and, also, in between Julia and Troy as individuals.
With their two separate sets of talent, experience, and artistry, Julia and Marshall Troy are able to tell complete, dynamic stories for their clients — from ideation to final product.
